What it does
PulseHotspot runs a proxy server inside an app on your iPhone. Devices connected to your Personal Hotspot point their proxy at the phone โ and every connection they make is re-originated by the iPhone itself, on its own data session, with its own network identity. To the carrier, it is simply the iPhone browsing. There is no server in the middle, nothing to host, nothing to maintain.
How it works
Turn on Personal Hotspot and let your laptop or other device join it, like normal.
Open PulseHotspot and tap Start. The proxy listens on the hotspot at 172.20.10.1, ports 18080 (HTTP) and 11081 (SOCKS5).
Set the device's proxy to that address. Its traffic now leaves through the iPhone's own connection โ because it literally is the iPhone's connection.
Features
Full proxy, two flavors
HTTP proxy with CONNECT for HTTPS, plus a SOCKS5 proxy for apps that prefer it. Browsers, mail, chat, updates โ if it honors a proxy, it works.
PdaNet-style device list
See every device on your hotspot: its name, IP, connection count, and whether it's active. Hit Refresh to sweep the hotspot and find devices before they connect.
Built for iPhone 17 Pro
Compiled for iOS 26 and the A19 generation with full optimization. Sockets are tuned for fast cellular โ Nagle off, deep buffers โ so the proxy never becomes the bottleneck.
Private by design
No accounts, no analytics, no logging, no third-party anything. The app talks to the sites your devices ask for โ and nothing else, ever.
One-button simple
One big Start button, a live status light, and a one-tap copy of the proxy address. The screen stays awake while it runs.
No infrastructure
No VPS to rent, no VPN subscription, no server to patch at 2 a.m. If your iPhone has signal, your hotspot works.

No jailbreak
Everything in this section works on a stock iPhone — no jailbreak needed. Two ways in:
PulseHotspot app. Add this source in AltStore or SideStore (buttons at the top of the page), install PulseHotspot, tap Start. Or skip the source and grab the raw file: Download the .ipa.
Surge profile. No sideloading at all: install Surge from the App Store, import this profile, start Surge. Hotspot clients then point their proxy at 172.20.10.1, port 6152 (HTTP) or 6153 (SOCKS5). Download the Surge profile (.conf)
appdb. In appdb, open My Apps → Upload by URL and paste the .ipa link — appdb signs and installs it on your linked device: https://altstore.kylebailey94.org/PulseHotspot.ipa
Downloads
- PulseHotspot v1.2.2 (.ipa) — install with AltStore or SideStore

Jailbreak repo
An APT repo for Sileo and Zebra, hosted on this same site. It carries every Pulse27 build (1.0.0–2.1.0) plus the legacy TTL65 tweak (v2.0.1 — arm, arm64, and arm64e builds); Kyle's other tweaks join it as they become available.

Jailbreak kit
- TTL/HL 65 daemon + Pulse27CC for iOS 27.0.1, rootless (/var/jb). Needs a jailbreak — none is public for 27.0.1 yet, so this is staged and ready for the day one drops.
- Download Pulse27 v2.1.0 (.deb)
- All builds: 2.0.0 · 1.1.1 · 1.1.0 · 1.0.0
- Pulse27 source code (.zip) — everything needed to rebuild it for a new jailbreak
- Kyle's earlier TTL65 tweak — sets IPv4 TTL & IPv6 Hop Limit to 65 with a persistent LaunchDaemon. Pulse27 is its successor.
- Download arm64e (.deb) · arm64 · arm
- Configuration profile that blocks iOS OTA updates, keeping the phone on 27.0.1.
- Download Block Updates v3 (.mobileconfig)
- Older: v2 · v1
- Preset that disables the four OTA update daemons in GoldenNugget (Mac app). Make a full backup before applying.
